everything
If you're not passionate about what you're doing, it's time to make a change. You're not rooted in place like a tree. Your energy deserves to be invested in something meaningful. I've been lucky to be surrounded by driven people who truly enjoy what they do, which is probably why I always engage with startups. Life is too short to settle for less—why not spend it doing something you love with the right people?

As a designer and propagator of design thinking methodologies, it's extremely important to keep learning and growing to stay relevant and to offer solutions that blend into people's lives rather than disrupt or morph them. As much as I enjoy being completely absorbed in a project while working individually, I thrive in a collaborative environment with people coming in with different ideas, perspectives and skill sets.

Stay true to yourself
Fitting in is overrated. If you really want to build meaningful connections, you need to embrace and shine the light of your most authentic self.
Weird is the new cool and vulnerable is the new strength. Whatever I express, I ensure it reflects my aesthetic, whether it's with my colleagues or my students. I'm goofy, warm, a daydreamer and a maximalist. Currently, I'm mesmerised by gradients and all the Pink in the world.

Purpose
It's crucial for me to ensure everything I do contributes towards my glorious purpose of making an impact in people's lives. As a product designer, I want to enrich lives through my solutions. As an educator and storyteller, I want to make design learning fun, engaging and simple for everyone. At my core, though, humour is my best friend. And all I want is to spread smiles, laughter and happiness among the lives I touch.
